Hammerson own some of the most famous shopping malls in the UK, Ireland and France. But even before the pandemic they were struggling to compete with online shopping. I was brought into Publicis to lead the pitch for their business in 2019.
Ironically the campaign went live just before the pandemic hit and we all stopped doing much of anything IRL!
However, when the world started returning to relative normality, it became the perfect vehicle to entice customers back into real life shops and restaurants.
